DescriptionEstablished in 1857 as the Philologians, the reorganized society in 1858 became knows as the Amphicytion Society. Their motto was "Inveniam Viam aut Faciam". Frank Smith is seated second to the right and Clark Lincoln Herron is standing to the far left.
