Description	From 1902-1922, Joseph William Mauck was president of Hillsdale College. The Mauck family made their home in this building at the corner of Hillsdale and E. Fayette Streets. The name of the home was Sunnycrest. The building is now the chapter house of Alpha Tau Omega. The postcard is postmarked "Hillsdale Jun 16 12 - M 1909" The card is addressed to "Mrs. J. S. Bellis, 2119 4th Ave. West, Seattle, Wash." The message reads "Hillsdale, June 16 - Dear Mary - Mother has been bad for the past three months with heart trouble, is failing quite fast now -- suffers dreadfully, very much as papa did. I have a pretty good girl & don't try to do anything myself but take care of her. Am up nights a good deal but stand it pretty well. She keeps her mind well & only grieves that she must make other some trouble. She sends love - Cora."
